About

Well now pardner, just who are these MidLife Cowboys you ask? We’re a group of central Pennsylvania musicians who enjoy playing the old time country favorites that you just don’t seem to hear in a ‘live’ performance these days. We play the ole’ greats by artists such as:

We also throw in some originals that will put you in the mood to mosey down the dusty trail of those simple days gone by. So if you’re a hankering for the flavor of those songs that you know so well and don’t want your “Blue Eyes Cryin’ In The Rain”, we invite you to get “Back In The Saddle Again” and come see the show. We know that “Right Or Wrong”, you’ll have those “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Heart Aches By The Number” if you miss the chance to ride the trail with the ever entertaining MidLife Cowboys’ Band. Oh, and don’t forget your dancin’ shoes for the “Tennessee Waltz”!

Gary Stoner

Gary Stoner

Lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Gary has been yodeling on the trail for many years. Starting out singing at weddings as a young cowpoke, he now finds himself in Stetson hat and cowhide boots fronting the band of those Midlife desperados.
Steve Schoenfelder

Steve Schoenfelder

When not riding his big bad Harley down a lonesome country road, Steve can be found pounding out the rhythm on that big bad fender bass.
Wayne Krebs

Wayne Krebs

Keeping time on the trail with the Cowboys as the drummer, Wayne wears many hats in the band and you’ll just have to come to the show to see what we mean.
Chris Trasetti

Chris Trasetti

Blues, Country, or any genre… Chris can play em all on the harmonica. He said he likes to practice in his hot tub. We’ve never actually seen that…and not sure we’d want to.
Ed Scholl

Ed Scholl

Churning out lead melodies smoother than a baby’s bottom, Ed delights all with the sounds of his Gibson hollow body electric. The Midlife Cowboys have their own Chet Atkins in Ed.

Supporting Musicians

On various roundups, other musicians as well can be found hitching up with the Cowboys to bring to you those old time country classics.
